I have seen it report from multiple media sources that in the 2000 US elections over 1,000,000 (1 Million) votes were not counted. Over 180,000 of these were from Florida alone. Internationally there was a lot of controversy in the media as to whether George Bush had a legitimate win to presidency or whether the uncounted votes would have swayed the outcome to being in favour of Kerry. This controversy was hardly reported in the U.S.A. and was quickly forgotten.

In my experience Michael Moore does tend towards being a dramatist, staging public stunts of various kinds in order to get attention. Some people appreciate this, some do not. Either way, I do think he tackles important issues, and his dramatisations can help to get the message across (with appeal) to a wider audience.

I have not seen this movie at this time. I shall write a brief review when I do.
