Your Excellency-J.Evatt, Thank you for your kind recognition and acknowledgement of my comment.Sikhs truly follow Gurudev's teachings as men with an implicit obedience. However women supporting human species in general only wear unwanted hairs of personal consideration and choice of upkeep which,in my opinion, holds good to sikhs also! Thanks to your insistence on the essentials of Nature.

Thank you Sastry for sharing your views. Greatly appreciated. In the above article I did not go into the esoteric implications of body hair and its removal. Since you have broached the subject, I will add a few additional points for consideration by my more adventurous readers... such as yourself. - The hair on our body plays an important role in a certain subtle interaction between the physical body and the etheric body. The etheric body is also referred to as the pranic body, the chi body, and in the Ayurvedic / yoga system is called the pranamaya kosha. It is my understanding that the body hair helps to anchor and ground the etheric sheath or body into the physical form. The effect of this is strengthening, protecting, and grounding. Simply put, it is energetically empowering to the woman and her embodiment of the Feminine Goddess that she IS. Shaving the body energetically cuts the etheric sheath, ultimately weakening and depleting it (and the woman). For me it is also interesting to note that numerous woman have commented to me and/or my Beloved, that within a few months of no longer shaving their armpits they notice their breast get firmer and droop less (they get more pert). I would be very interested to hair (sorry, I mean "hear") from other women of their experience in this regard. The Sikhs had a profound understanding of esoteric role of body hair, and this knowledge is behind their choice to let the beard and head hair grow long on a man. I am not sure what view they have on the women growing their hair long, as I have not been exposed to that info. Sastry, again, thank you for your input.

Absolutely true.Indeed women are the support of human form and life. All present day ills are the result of distorted bigotry of synthetic aesthetics of business promotion. Also female hairs protect noxious down loading of vicious soul programs from Conscious Universal Web just like electronic www. Sounds funny and superstitious? May take some time for desire ridden people to understand the wisdom of truth addressed by Jonathan Evatt.

I absolutely love this post. It really struck a chord with me. I was reminded of reading it last year, when this blog post appeared in my inbox today - this woman has possibly the most amazing underarm hair of anyone I have ever seen! ; ) http://www.bust.com/blog/2010/04/06/gleaming-streaming-flaxen-waxen-armpit-hair-finally-pays-off.html
