There's no doubt in my mind that BP's April 20th oil rig incident and the resulting oil spill is a massive man-made disaster. Whilst people have their attention on this issue and the consequences of our dependance on oil, I wish to point out the following:

The BP Oil Spill is relatively minor compared to what is going on every day in the oil industry as a matter of calculated business precedure. Take a look at this video clip to see what I mean.
